Hi Jo
How’s things?
Excuse the gratuitous “yes” DM gag. Oddly enough we are currently doing a bit of DM for one of our clients to break to cycle of prospecting via email. Letters with branded calculators and notebooks etc, the kind of thing we might have done at iris - which seems like an age ago now.
Since iris we’ve been working for some nice clients who value what we do, delivering campaigns, brand development, planning support etc. We think our point of difference is we get to the solutions pretty quickly, without a million meetings, with smaller budgets and without the mandatory agency stress that can creeps in more often than not.
Like every other agency out there we want to grow and work with new clients. Ideally nice ones.
So we thought we’d get in touch.
We’re not envisaging the chance to pitch for your next big budget TV campaign or anything specific. The objective is more to give you a sense of what we could do, so if anything crops up, we might be in consideration.
Our sweetspot is more the ‘everyday’ campaigns - the ones that still need to work but where the budgets are lower and there’s not 6 months to turn them around. We can deliver quickly, with an eye always on effectiveness - and for budgets which would look massively under-cooked for somewhere like iris.
Or maybe sometimes it’d be nice to have a plan B for concepts or a second opinion on something without breaking the bank.
A recent example is below. It’s a promotional film we did for World Pool (part of Tote). Using primarily existing assets, within pretty rigid brand guidelines and with 4 weeks start to finish we were tasked with delivering 3 TV ad / social film versions - all for £40K. It’s currently running on Racing TV (Sky 424) and a range of social platforms. We’re not entering it for D&AD… but got some really good feedback from clients and people in the racing industry.
Anyway , there’s lots more stuff on the site,. why not have a look round if you’ve 10 mins to spare.
All the best
Graham
Last thing - clearly we know each other and there’s always that fine line about contacting people you know and whether that creates an uncomfortable feeling if there’s no opportunity. Clearly a ‘no thanks’ if a possible outcome and won’t give it a second thought.
A few highlights - each click through to a bit of context.
